This work was created when the artist Tart spent at least 13 hours a day, 5 days a week, between commuting and working a new job in an attempt to find itself in a new city and a new community. Tart felt that every choice was between 2 options it didn't like. Tart could give up and retreat into darkness or press on into the fire with an uncertain outcome.
