Tart made this response to the 2024 presidential election. Immediately after the election, Tart briefly considered dying its hair black. After some thought, Tart realized that changing the outer expressions it enjoys in exchange for safety isn't realistic. What kind of change will be asked for next? Why consider making changes for possible violence? Tart isn't willing to let anxiety give comfort to people who would take it away from it. Having to change to be somewhat safer doesn't make one safe.
